Aaron has been a woodworking enthusiast since he was a boy, starting his first woodworking business at 15. Later developing an interest in history, art, and sustainable building, he eventually found their intersection in the field of heritage conservation.
Aaron studied at Willowbank School of Restoration Arts then spent the next decade working under various professional restorers and woodworkers before opening his own business in 2019.
- Meg previously studied ceramics and metal arts at Haliburton School of Art & Design. Out of that experience she developed and maintains a studio practice as a silversmith under her brand Fallow Jewellery. In joining Aaron and Archwood Millwork in 2021 she endeavoured to meet the frequent request of clients for leaded art glass restoration and replication. She has found many technical intersections in the work of glass with her work as a metalsmith, and she joyfully creates now in this medium. The ethos of restoration in particular has drawn her into the work and she continues to find meaning in participating in practices that support a vision of sustainable building and stewardship.
